Role Summary
Own the full deal cycle across project/OOG and container (FCL/LCL, SOC/COC): lead origination, pricing, negotiation of booking notes/charter parties, and closing fixtures with shippers, forwarders, owners/operators and NVOCCs.
What you’ll do
Originate & convert cargo leads; close spot/voyage and COA deals (project, BBK, OOG, containers).
- Build freight ideas & voyage estimates with solid port, stowage, and risk assumptions.
- Negotiate booking notes/charter parties (BIMCO HEAVYCON/PROJECTCON, LOIs), laytime/D&D, free time.
- Coordinate method statements, lifting/lashing plans, MWS approvals, port engineering as needed.
- Work across MPP/HLF, LoLo/RoRo and liner/feeder networks; manage SOC/COC, detention/demurrage.
- Maintain a quality contact book; issue concise market intel and weekly pipeline updates.
- Ensure compliance (KYC/sanctions/export controls) and smooth pre-/post-fixture handover to Ops.
What you bring
- 3–7+ years in chartering/broking (project/heavy‑lift & containers or MPP/LoLo/RoRo).
- Live network among shippers/forwarders and owners/operators; portable lanes are valued.
- Strong commercial math (TCE, laytime, demurrage/detention, bunker spreads) and CRM discipline.
- Clear communicator in English (Greek a plus; Arabic/Mandarin an advantage).
- Entrepreneurial drive, integrity, and a get‑deals‑done mindset.

– Act as DPA under the ISM Code, liaising between ship and shore.
– Ensure SMS implementation and continuous improvement.
– Lead audits, incident investigations, and safety reporting.

Requirements:
– Master or Chief Engineer license preferred.

– Oversee daily technical operations of assigned vessels (dry or wet fleet).
– Monitor vessel performance, PMS, repairs, and dry-dockings.
– Ensure Class, Flag, and regulatory compliance.
– Manage OPEX budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
– Liaise with ship crew, owners, and third-party stakeholders.
Requirements:
– Chief Engineer license or equivalent technical background.
– 2+ years of experience as Technical Superintendent.
– Strong knowledge of PMS software and marine regulations.
– Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
– Willingness to travel onboard or to shipyards as needed.
